Winter Warmers

Another Saturday afternoon was spent at Nueva Condimina, buying things which I may not be able to afford. To be fair to myself, the majority of the money I spent was for various birthday/Christmas presents. I did, however, buy myself three things which are Winter Warmers and things that I will definitely be taking home with me this December.

Coat: Pull & Bear
Scarf: Zara
Top: Shana

At the moment, I am going through a stage of wanting black things, with studs on, combined with skull prints, topped off with heavy jewellery. I remember, during first year how I'd always wear bright colours despite it being Winter, and my flatmates would say that I always looked summery. Last year, I went through a stage of living in black tops and black leggings. Now, I get to wear summery clothes all the time, but can't really wear anything black because it is just too warm. That's another reason why I want to return to England (apart from missing home loads lately), I want to be able to wear Autumn/Winter fashion, and wrap up in a chunky knit with my leggings on, and a blanket wrapped around me, in front of the fire. I worked out that it is 65 days until I return home! I am beyond excited!

Until then, I have my new friends, nights out, the beach, and the sun to keep me going.

You Have Three Wishes

One of my wishes would be to be able to buy whatever clothes I wanted, whenever I wanted: very selfish of me... And, if any girl who loves fashion denies that she would do the same, she is a liar.

I haven't made a wishlist in a while, since Christmas last year I think, but at the moment, I am lusting after so many clothes/shoes/jewellery/accessories etc. that I had to make a quick October Wishlist post! At the moment, my bank is very much hating me so I'm trying to reign in the spending. Trying, but failing. Plus, Christmas is coming up, and if I buy anyone presents, I spoil them. I like to spoil people, and make sure they have the best present ever!

Keep on wishing...

The majority of this is from good old Topshop & River Island of course, as all my posts usually consist of! As you can also see, I am going through another 'rock chick'/'biker' phase yet again! It will never get old, especially as there is a load of studs and leather out in the stores right now.

I now need to rush off to my two hour lecture until eight! It is, however, 30 degrees today in Sunny Spain!

Sleeping In The Fields

I am off to V Festival early hours Friday morning, and I am nowhere near ready for this weekend! I don't even have wellies yet, and looking at the weather, it looks like I'm definitely going to need them.

Despite doing a whole Festival Guide on HerUni, I still have no clue what to take, whether I have everything ready, how much money I should take etc. etc. I want to keep warm (obviously!) but as a fashion blogger who likes to think she has some sort of style, I would like to look nice in the pictures I take.

So far, I have two pairs of shorts (one of which I'm not sure even fit me!), three tops I think I'm going to take (most likely), a raincoat (for obvious reasons) and that's it. I need to take basic make-up. I'm forgetting about foundation completely as of right now. Maybe I will just in case I have bags under my eyes or a spot sprouts out from nowhere. Who knows? I haven't even thought about jewellery or hair accessories. I think that I'm overthinking this whole thing. I'm making it sound like this is my suitcase for Spain rather than a weekend rolling around in fields in mud and jumping up and down to artists live. So excited by the way!

Here's a reminder of the fashion side of things I brought together for HerUni:

Surely all this will help me on the fashion side of things. I'm definitely going to take a straw hat too! I don't care how much it rains; I want to take one! It will keep onlookers from knowing the truth about my greasy hair on Sunday/Monday!

It's safe to say that I definitely need to go shopping tomorrow! I wish I had a car because it would be so much easier then!

Sorry for the excessive rant/worrying blog post. I'll probably just wing it, and it will all be fine!

The HerUni Festival Guide: Part II

The first instalment of the HerUni Festival Guide was all about the footwear. This instalment is all about what to wear to your festival! That’s right, you want to look your best (as can be without showers and mirrors etc.) whilst jumping around in the mud, sleeping in tents, and of course, listening to the best musicians rock out on stage in front of you and thousands of other people.
It doesn’t matter what kind of style you are. As I’ve said before in my other posts (like Wedding Wear), there is something for everybody! You can glam it up with pretty dresses (I would not under any circumstance recommend heels or long flowing dresses that will inevitably get ruined by the mud), cute accessories, and wacky makeup. Or, keep on your sunnies with a black leather jacket and ripped denim for the rock chick look. If you’re a folky girl, you know what to do. Add the fringing and the feathers!
