Lazy Day Wear

Sometimes everybody has one of those days (or weeks) where they just want to slob around their bedroom and watch re-runs of 90210 or The Vampire Diaries. Or, it is also that time of year for students, just before we can get excited about going home for Christmas, when there is that dreaded cloud looming over us called D-Day. And that means that we have to spend days and nights cooped up in the library (or in bed) reading material and writing up to 3000 words of a topic we've been studying for the past three months. I have to write around 5000 words by the 10th on something that I have no idea where to start. Plus, it's in Spanish!

Instead of staying in your PJs (and staying in bed - it's not a good idea), get up early and get some reading done, after eating breakfast whilst watching an episode of 90210. Then take a shower and get comfortable in some warm leggings and an oversized jumper, or tracksuit bottoms and a baggy tee.

I've added five tees so that it's for five full days of work/laziness just before the Xmas holiday.

However you like to spend your days chilled out on the sofa, you can do it in style, just incase somebody disturbs you and comes knocking on your door. This way you're fully prepared for anything, but with comfort! And if you're off to the library at 10pm, it doesn't mean you have to look your worst. However, if you imagine that image of a girl with scraped back hair, leggings and an oversized jumper with sleep in her eye, that would probably be what I look like when I go to the library.

October Inspiration

First of all, I want to apologise to my readers (however few or many there are of you) for not updating Señorita Glamourista as much as I should. It's no excuse as I have many free hours during the week, not always during the day, to post something on the blog!

Recently, classes and the general running of university has been stressful, and there have been times when I just want to escape to my comfy double bed at home, and have a good english breakfast and proper English food. I am still here, and making the most of living in Spain, where it is hot and sunny right now!

Back to the blog, it is a new month, which means it is inspiration time! Granted, I didn't actually create an inspiration post last month (sorry!), but here is one for this October! As you all start wrapping up in your A/W collections, I am still wearing t-shirts and shorts/dresses etc. A part of me wishes it to be colder so I can buy some new autumn staples, but that is not an option at the moment! I will freeze when it comes to Christmas time, and I will be in the not-so-sunny England.

A part of me wishes I was in England for this time. I would have loved to have gone to LFW Weekend last month. There's always next year! I'll be back living in London then too, so that will definitely be easier.

I promise I'll keep the blog updated more regularly this month! I might even do another post tonight after I get in from university at 8.15pm. Yes, classes run 9am until 8pm. It is crazy!

Christmas Gifts

Today, I went to Westfields to do a bit of Xmas shopping! I went by myself, but sometimes that's a good thing: you can get more done that way (even though I forgot a few things for myself)!
I spent just under £50 and bought the majority of my presents so it's safe to say that I have gotten better through the years. Sometimes I can't help but spend, spend, and spend some more. Some tips are:

1. Set yourself a budget for each person (I've gone over a bit with my parents this year but for everyone else I've either stuck to it or gone a little under and still bought what I want).
2. Browse online before you shop. Get an idea of what you want to buy people and write it all down. Remember to set a limit though!
3. Write down the shops that your gift ideas in along with prices. This will make it a bit easier and less stressful when you're surrounded by masses of other shoppers running around like headless chickens!
4. If you're really stuck for cash, make some home made presents. Sometimes your friends and family will appreciate them more than actually spending money as you have spent time and have been more thoughtful about your choice of gift.

a. As I've procrastinated all day: Going to Westfields, watching X Factor, and after this watching Confessions of a Shopaholic in bed, tomorrow I will be getting up mega early (for me) at 8am to do some revision before my 2pm lecture. I have two exams this week that I have not even started revising for and now I am starting to get more than a little scared. One is for history, the other Spanish Language. Suffice to say I'm more than a little scared. Definitely need to crack on with that.

b. I go home in 5 days time! As much as I'll miss all my girlies in my cosy little house at Roehampton, I cannot wait to see my mum and dad and friends and family from home! It's going to be a fabulous Christmas this year and I want to document every single day of it. I can't wait to give my presents to people! That, for me, is definitely the best part of Christmas.

c. Before Friday, it is stress week aka the next five days. Two exams and two essays. Yes, I've done a draft of one essay and have great feedback, but that doesn't mean it's all hunky dory for me! Need to get revising, writing, editing and all that jazz starting tomorrow morning!
