May Inspiration

May is my favourite month of the year because there is always something happening every weekend throughout it.

Also, it is my Birthday Month! And this year, I am turning 21 in Alicante, on the beach or by the pool side with the majority of my favourite people in the world. It's safe to say that I am looking forward to next weekend!

This weekend, there is a festival in Murcia, SOS 4.8, which I will be attending with one, or more, of my friends.

The fourth weekend I'm taking a trip to my beloved Roehampton to see my lovely uni friends for the weekend of the Summer Ball! I worked it last year so it will be exciting to actually be able to attend it again this year! Plus, seeing all my friends will be amazing because I miss them huge amounts.

And, the weekend after that, my best friend is coming to visit me in Murcia!

On top of all these busy weekends, I have work in my school which I still love, plus I have a tonne of work to do for university too, on top of tutoring sessions and sorting my room out (which I've already started).

(L-R) Family; Birthday Balloons; Beach Bedroom; Interiors; Drinkin' With M' Bitches; Imogen Belfield Ring; Festival Fashion; Pretty Little Dress; Friends On The Beach; Too Many Clothes To Fit In One Suitcase; Summer Lovin'; Peacock Colours

May really is the best month of the year!

Going Home.

I have not blogged in a long time. I have no excuse really because I'm not mega busy or anything. I've become a fan of Pinterest recently to put a load of different inspiration up, mainly to do with 'Ink' which I am loving at the moment.

Technically, as seen as it's after midnight, I go home tomorrow night! I am beyond excited and cannot wait!! I just want to have a full English and a hot Ribena on the couch, in front of the telly, in the evening. That will be happening on Friday among seeing the family!

I want to do so much whilst at home for the short three weeks I'm there, so I've made a list, but with proper SG style, here's an inspiration board.

L-R: Catching up with friends like the crazy people that we are; Making 21st birthday plans (way in advance!); Putting the Christmas tree up (parents have waited for me to come home :)); Eating a massive Xmas dinner; Spending quality time with my family (miss them); Reading loads; Writing what I want to write, not what a university wants me to; Eating a full English; Eating out at an Indian restaurant; Going out with the girls; Getting my hair restyled (I'm liking this - long layers); NYE; Seeing Breaking Dawn (it is at the top of my list!); Going to a panto with family; Being addicted as ever to tattoos.

This is what my diary of the next three weeks will look like, plus other things as plans are made and people come home for Christmas. It looks like I'm about to put on many pounds from all the food I plan to eat! It's a good job I've already thought about exercise for next year (including Zumba!).

I cannot wait to be in the comfiest bed in the world, and have the best sleep ever after getting home early hours of Friday morning!

I'll be blogging more over the Christmas period, and I've planned a couple of Xmas HerUni posts too so look out for them.

Welcome to the Festive Season

I can't believe that it's December already! This year has gone so quick, and these three months in Spain have too. December is the month of giving, Christmas, time with friends and family, eating and drinking loads, hoping to not get fat etc. Also, it is party season! But, that is a whole different SG post.

I, personally, have been waiting for December to come around since September, so now that it is here, I can safely say that I am very happy.

Also, because of my flight change to a later time, I was able to change my flights for free. So, I am now flying home on the 13th December (next Thursday/10 days!) which of course, I am so excited about.

This time of year, I always start writing my story/books again which I have started already. I finished the first draft of book one over a year ago. I've started both two and three now, just writing here and there. I have big plans for this series and hope to continue writing over the month.

At the moment, I am also going through a tattoo phase, where I want loads more and I spend hours on Pinterest looking at different tats. I'm trying to force myself to wait until next September though, after I've been in Spain because the climate here has made my latest really dry.

Happy December!
Welcome to the Festive Season!

A Very Special Post

This post is dedicated to my Nin, a beautiful woman who I miss every day.

This is my Ninny (aka Nan, as nobody but our family seems to know what Nin means!). She passed five years today, and it's still hard to think that she has gone. She used to call me a 'little shit', not that I was one! I was the perfect grandchild (ahem!). There are a lot of us though; grandchildren I mean. She must have gone crazy remembering all our names. She got them wrong sometimes and went through a whole list of names before she got to the right one!

One memory I always remember from when I was younger was when I stayed with her one night and we were in her living room - which was the back room - and I watched the smoke from her cigerettes float up into the air and disappear on the ceiling.

I love you, Ninny NooNoo.

Saturday Night is Girl's Night

I did have a full length photo but it was awful so I decided against uploading it.

1. Last night, I went out for a meal to Harvester with a few of my girlfriends. I had garlic bread for a starter and fish & chips for my main which was lovely! I love going out for meals with my friends, especially after six/seven weeks of not seeing them. It was a fab meal with beautiful friends. After Harvester, we went to Spoons for a drink and saw more people from home. I love catching up with all my friends from home. It was great to see everyone!
Recently, those rings have been the ones that I always wear on a night out: my animal rings. The fox is from River Island, the snake from Primark, and the elephant from Republic: some of my fav high street stores!

2. I've nearly finished all my Xmas shopping! There's only a few more blanks that I need to order/buy! This morning, I went over to Liverpool for a few bits with my friend, Joss, and then, we went to ASDA. You can't go wrong with ASDA for wrapping paper and cards and wine and chocs! I may start wrapping my presents on Tuesday and have a day to myself whilst watching a Christmas film. I've already taken a 'before' picture for my Xmas Wrapping post. Can't wait to wrap, and write my cards!

3. As I write this, I'm watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! It is such a weird and funny film! Oompa, Loompa... For tea, Mum, Dad, and I are having a 'mess around'. Many people don't know what a mess around is but it's basically just bits and pieces of cold meat, cheese, salad, crisps and the like. I love mess arounds at home! I tried to recreate it in London but it didn't happen. Tonight, I'm going to Spoons again with some friends to catch up with my best friend as she's been in London this weekend. Can't wait!
