May Inspiration

May is my favourite month of the year because there is always something happening every weekend throughout it.

Also, it is my Birthday Month! And this year, I am turning 21 in Alicante, on the beach or by the pool side with the majority of my favourite people in the world. It's safe to say that I am looking forward to next weekend!

This weekend, there is a festival in Murcia, SOS 4.8, which I will be attending with one, or more, of my friends.

The fourth weekend I'm taking a trip to my beloved Roehampton to see my lovely uni friends for the weekend of the Summer Ball! I worked it last year so it will be exciting to actually be able to attend it again this year! Plus, seeing all my friends will be amazing because I miss them huge amounts.

And, the weekend after that, my best friend is coming to visit me in Murcia!

On top of all these busy weekends, I have work in my school which I still love, plus I have a tonne of work to do for university too, on top of tutoring sessions and sorting my room out (which I've already started).

(L-R) Family; Birthday Balloons; Beach Bedroom; Interiors; Drinkin' With M' Bitches; Imogen Belfield Ring; Festival Fashion; Pretty Little Dress; Friends On The Beach; Too Many Clothes To Fit In One Suitcase; Summer Lovin'; Peacock Colours

May really is the best month of the year!

Summer Exercise

I know that Summer seems a long way off considering we're only in April, but it really isn't.

Time is flying!

At the moment, my summer plans are all up in the air; I'm not entirely sure where I'll be and on which dates. If I go home, my summer will consist of writing for HerUni, Pillow, LPF, SG (and hopefully more!) as well as exercising.

This is the summer to get fit!

I've looked up various classes that I want to do - trying to see what won't clash - at home.

So there is my fitness plan for Summer. That is five days a week of working out. I am definitely having the weekends off!

We'll see how long this lasts...

April Inspiration

We are already half way through April! I cannot believe how fast this year is going already. I am not loving it, that's for sure. Before I know it, I'll be back in cold England for good and starting my final year of university.

Like every month, it is (passed) time to create an inspiration board for the month.

Happy April!

1. During the Easter holidays, I was sick. It always happens when I'm home aka Christmas and Easter. Therefore, I didn't get to do as much as I wanted. I did catch up on a load of British TV and I caught up with all the drama of the soaps as I lay on the couch day in, day out.

2. I have been back in Spain for over a week! Time flies when you're having fun etc. I can't believe I leave in less than three months. That will be the end of my year abroad. This makes me very sad. I don't want to leave the sun and the sea!

3. I have so many exciting writing opportunities coming my way at the moment! As a twenty year old, I am really proud of myself and how far I've gotten in the past two years of publishing my work on online blogs and magazines!

4. It was SG's second birthday on the 2nd! So, HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY SG!

5. Lot's of exciting things coming up in the next few months! This year is definitely in my top two of life so far... Having the best time!

Shortilicious.

Here in Murcia, it is 27 degrees, and it is after 6pm. I am loving the sun right now and it will only get warmer, sunnier and better as time goes on!

After school/work (whatever you want to call it), I wandered down Gran Vía and had a little nose in Blanco. Oh my God! I need to go back this later this week, or early next week because they have a new amazing range of shorts in there. I have to buy them! To be fair, I haven't been on a shopping spree in a while and I need some nice shorts for my birthday weekend, various trips around Spain, my June travels, Ibiza and the summer holidays - wherever I end up.

Shopaholic has surfaced once again.

The fact that I'm buying new shorts may also mean that I need to buy some new tops/shoes to go with them too.

I may go ahead and buy the majority of this shorts to add to my collection.

Now, this wouldn't be an SG article without an appearance from Topshop or River Island and a how to style it post...

Summer is practically here for me and very soon the legs will be out on show!

Shorts are so much better than short skirts when it comes to day wear too. I don't want to walk around with the fear of a slight breeze lifting my skirt for the whole world to see my knickers! It is safe to say that with summer daytime, I will be opting for shorts: mini, long, denim, sporty...

Still Dreaming Of The World

I have really thought about travel a lot recently! Living in Spain is just not enough although it is lovely and warm and sunny. Safe to say I am not looking forward to arriving to freezing temperatures later on tonight.

BUT I WILL BE HOME!

Another image of the world and the many places I want to visit. Aswell, I want to go travelling to places all at once so that I have an amazing one or two years before 'settling down' and starting the real world. That won't be for another few years yet...

Dream BIG!

I'm off to finish packing and get ready for school. Afternoon drinks later with the teachers before I can finally start making my way back to Liverpool.

Dreaming Of The World

One of my biggest wants, or wish, in life is to travel the world. I would love to back a bag and jet off to the sandy beaches of Australia, the rainforests in Brazil, and the secret caves of most (not all) countries in the world.

I want to see the world whilst I'm still young, and whilst I don't have a permanent job, or any other serious ties back home, apart from the one's that are going to be there no matter what aka my family and friends. Realistically, I want to do all this before I'm 25 aka in the next four years. I think it's possible.

First job is to buy a travel diary, write down all the places I want to visit and go from there. Maybe get a job that pays well after university for six months too. I will need a considerable amount of money for this new adventure.

The great thing about my career choice is that I can pretty much write in any place.
Bonus!
